John A. Taylor, CEO and Executive in Charge of Lending Operations:

John Taylor began his real estate career in 2001 when he became a licensed loan officer at an independent San Francisco Bay Area broker, before obtaining his own broker’s license in 2005. Taylor formed, funded and managed several real estate acquisition and finance syndicates, with a combined $3M in assets under management. Since 2005 he has managed several mortgage pool funds, including NorCal Rehab Funding, LLC, Network Capital Fund, LLC and Residential Funding Solutions, LP, a $20M debt and equity financing fund. Mr. Taylor is a graduate of the University of Southern California (School of Journalism) and has held various sales and management positions in the entertainment and technology industries prior starting his real estate career.

George Antone, President and Executive in Charge of Business Development:

Mr. Antone is the founder of WealthClasses.com, a nationally franchised real estate education company, and was president of The National Wealth Network, the largest Real Estate Investment Association in San Francisco before dedicating his full time to NorCal Capital Management.  Over the past five years, Mr. Antone has established his reputation as an expert in the fields of private money lending and trust deed investing, becoming a national speaker and teacher on the subjects. In 2006 he co-founded NorCal Rehab Funding, LLC, with John Taylor and helped grow the company to one of the most successful acquisition and improvement lenders in Northern California. George Antone is a graduate of the University of California, Davis. Prior to commencing his career in real estate investment and private lending, Antone held various software development positions with companies such as Microsoft, Intuit, Total Entertainment Network, UpShot Corporation, and Virage.

Laura Ann Keller, Partner:

laura_aokFor 23 years, Keller worked as an International Tax Analyst for Chevron Corp. before retiring to pursue real estate and finance investments full time. Since 2006, she has worked as a facilitator for commodity and financial transactions for private equity firms and high net worth individuals. Leveraging a network of bankers, finance strategists, mortgage brokers, asset managers and securities brokers, Ms. Keller facilitates the funding for bulk REO acquisitions, bank instruments and commodities. With her company Orbital Enterprises, LLC, Laura works with several worldwide fiduciaries and is the contracted U.S. compliance officer to a registered Swiss Trust that provides clients with a range of services including wealth management, corporate finance, private equity and structured finance facilitation.  Ms. Keller is licensed in accordance with the provisions of VQF and FINMA. Laura Keller     graduated in 1983 from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Accounting and completed courses toward Masters in Taxation at Golden Gate University, CA.

Jay Briggs, Director of Risk Analysis:

Jay has spent his entire 20 year career in the mortgage finance industry. He began in 1987 at a major San Francisco bank as the Sales Manager in charge of their nationwide foreclosed property portfolio. This led to several positions in credit risk management over a 10 year period at Freddie Mac, the nation's second largest mortgage securitization company. He played a central role in developing both the procedures and analytical tools for Freddie Mac’s loan workout programs, then moved on to tackle corporate-wide oversight of $139 billion in mortgages covered by credit enhancement contracts. Jay also spent two years as Business Development Manager in Freddie Mac’s Elite Division to innovate new services and open up new markets for the company. Jay left Freddie Mac in 2000 to start his own mortgage infrastructure software company called Omnilink Services. To be closer to his family, he moved to California and opened a residential mortgage brokerage specializing in advising individual homeowners and real estate investors in effective use of mortgage debt in wealth building.

Jay holds the highly esteemed and globally recognized Chartered Financial Analyst designation as well as the mortgage industry specific Certified Mortgage Banker designation. He also has completed the financial Risk Management Certification program at Virginia Tech University.

Russell Roesner    , Director of Investor Relations:

Mr. Roesner is an accomplished senior executive with 10 years of progressive Real Estate consulting experience providing strategic and organization change solutions to Real Estate securities and lending industry clients. As the Executive Vice President for Capital Alliance, a wholesale mortgage fund in San Francisco, Roesner restructured two Private Placement Debt Offerings and raised $50 million in investor capital through Broker Dealers, RIAs, and accredited investors. In addition, Russell trained the senior management team to package and sell investments through direct marketing programs and speaking engagements at national conferences to registered B/Ds, RIAs, pension plans, and accredited investors. Over 400 new investors were obtained through this process. Before joining NorCal Capital Management, Mr. Roesner implemented and applied project costing analysis for a Real Estate investment firm doing large scale condominium conversions. Other responsibilities included researching potential profitable markets, assisting fund manager in negotiating offers and guiding the firm to acquisitions of institutional, mezzanine, and equity debt for purchases.

Lucy Greene, Advisory Board Chairperson:

A 20-year veteran of the Real Estate finance industry, Lucy is the Managing Partner of Springer Solutions, LLC, a private lending fund for first phase real estate development projects.  She invests across the U.S. and internationally in land, land development, rental properties and fix/flip rehabs.  Lucy served as a Managing Member of NorCal Rehab Funding, LLC, and is currently Vice President of The Seeds Project, an umbrella 501c3, dedicated to humanitarian and environmental projects. Lucy Greene is a 1972 graduate of Johnston College in Redlands, California.
